PICK OF THE LITTER – 19 March

If you missed hearing today’s PICK OF THE LITTER from The SPCA of Upstate New York here’s what you missed:

Duke (Our Pictured Puppy)
He is nothing but a big puppy and big he is! Duke is already 60lbs at only 7 months old. He does not know this though, he still believes he is smaller, and his tail never stops wagging! Duke is a Mountain Curr hound mix. His personality is exceptional. When you go to pet him he rolls over for a good old tummy scratch. He loves to go for walks and he always has a lil bounce in his step. That just shows you how happy he is. This big boy is great with other dogs, even with his large size he doesn’t play rough. Duke is more of a gentle giant. Duke absolutely loves everyone he meets, he just wants to be loved! Duke is good on a leash, he is crate trained, and house trained , Just an all around great dog, can’t really ask for much more in this sweet guy. Duke has been neutered and is current on all his routine vaccinations.

Willow (our Camera Shy Kitty)
Willow is patiently awaiting her forever home. As you walk by her cage she loves to get your attention by talking to you, and if given the chance she’ll rub on your hands to get you to pet her. Willow is a gorgeous 5 month old domestic short haired tabby. She would make the perfect companion as she loves to get attention but also loves to give it. She also likes being held. Willow gets along fine with other cats so having other cats to live with would be fine. This young gal needs a place she can call home, a place where she can have her forever family.
