If you missed today’s “PICK OF THE LITTER” from The SPCA of Upstate New York here’s the information on this week’s featured furry friends who are looking for furr-ever homes:
Sophie (Photogenic Pup): Sophie has been with us about a week and a half now, after taking the long trip up here from the south Sophie has settled in nicely. She is very energetic, she loves to run and play and that’s just what she needs to make the perfect hiking or running buddy. Sophie is about 10 months old, still a puppy in many ways. She has a very sweet personality, loves everyone and gets excited when she meets someone new. Sophie gets along well with other dogs. Her tail never stops wagging whether it’s seeing another dog or wanting to say hello to someone. Sophie is always happy, nothing gets her down, she will brighten your day. This precious girl needs a family that’ll play with her, walk her, cuddle with her or just hang out with her. Sophie’s love is never ending. Sophie has been spayed and is current on all her routine vaccinations.
Mona (Camera Shy Cat): It seems that black cats are more than not adopted last. But it’s not the color that matters, it’s the personality. This little girl is black with a splash of white on her chest and tummy but her personality is more than just plain. Mona is very sweet and lovable. She loves to be held and get ear scratches. She loves to just hang out in your arms and she looks for that attention. Mona does well with other cats but she is playful, being about 10 months old, so a cat that still likes to play would be best . It’s not what’s on the outside that counts but what’s on the inside, and Mona has everything on the inside that will make her the perfect companion for anyone. Mona has been spayed and is current on all her routine vaccinations.
